The Cobar Weekly is an independent weekly newspaper in the rich outback town of Cobar. Each Wednesday the paper is published and distributed throughout the shire, covering an area roughly the size of Tasmania, for just $1. The Cobar Weekly has been established since 1986 has seen and covered all the major events in the region and enjoys a strong readership and loyal local following.
