Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Maxine McKew (far left) and Minister for Local Government Anthony Albanese (far right) presented Cobar Shire Council’s Angela Shepherd and Ray Smith with the National Award for Local Government in the Health and Wellbeing Category last week in Canberra. Council was notified of the prize earlier this month, although the official presentation ceremony was not held until last week. The award recognises Cobar Primary Health Care Centre’s
