Kings Cross Bikers Social and Welfare Club founding member ‘Animal’ (aka Randall Nelson) passed through Cobar last Thursday on his way back from a present drop in South Australia.
A number of Cobar residents had to look twice last week when a very distinctive motorbike, and equally distinctive rider, stopped in town on Thursday.
The lone biker turned out to be ‘Animal’, aka Randall Nelson, who was recently brought to national attention on the Imparja program The Secret Millionaire.
Animal was passing through Cobar on his way home from Port Lincoln in South Australia, where he had just completed a Christmas present drop.
Animal appeared on The Secret Millionaire as a beneficiary of businessman Peter Bond, who donated a special motorbike trailer for Animal to use on one of his many trips to various locations around Australia on his “quike”, where he donates toys to charities on behalf of the Kings Cross Bikers Social and Welfare Club, based in Waterloo, Sydney.
Animal has been awarded an Order of Australia medal for his charitable efforts, and is one of three founding members of the club.
