Cobar students head back into the classrooms tomorrow as the 2010 school year
begins for most years. While kindergarten students at both Cobar Public School (CPS) and St John’s School don’t start full school until next week, CPS kinder
students Zac Broughton and Amabella Harvey have already had a practice run in full uniform. Six year old Amabella is already a little bit familiar with school life, having one older sibling at the school, while Zac, five, is the first child in his family to set off to ‘big school’. The CPS kindergarten students will be eased in slowly to school life,
attending individually on Thursday and Friday this week as part of the school’s Best Start testing program. Many have also taken part in the school’s Smooth Start
program to prepare them for school life.
