The bin is back at Vinnies
Wednesday December 3, 2008

St Vincent de Paul committee member Freda McManus and president Kate Flynn were thrilled to welcome back the clothing donation bin to the charity, which was earlier this year badly damaged when it was set on fire. Alan Wells (from Wells
Construction) and Jarrod Marsden (Cobar Rugby Club) delivered and installed the repaired bin on Monday. The Cobar Rugby Club and their sponsors Wells
Construction repaired the bin free of charge for the local charity. Mr Marsden said when the club heard about the bin being damaged they knew St Vincent de Paul would be “in no position” to pay for the sandblasting and painting repairs. Mrs Flynn said the bin is being returned at an important time, with Christmas the busiest time for donations to the charity.
