AusIMM members to meet in Cobar

The Cobar Branch of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) will host visitors from across Australia and Japan this week for a mining conference.
Conference Chair Rex Berthelsen said the conference theme is “Rejuvenating historical and producing operations” and aims to bring together professionals to share information on the methods of extending the mine life of historical fields.
The conference’s keynote speaker Craig Stegman will be joined by 14 other notable speakers.
Delegates attending the conference will also be escorted on various local mine tours.
