Airline future no longer up in the air
Wednesday August 4, 2010
Brindabella Airlines last week received confirmation from the NSW Government that they have been successful in their licence application for the proposed Cobar to Sydney airline route.
Brindabella notified local stakeholders, Cobar Shire Council and Peak Mine general manager Peter Lloyd (who have been working with Cobar Management Pty Ltd and Endeavor Mine to resume an airline service to Cobar) on Monday saying the NSW Government will now formally issue their licence.
Brindabella will now work with Cobar Shire Council to ensure their requirements at the airport are met, including arranging a fuel provider, and all will be in readiness for when the first Brindabella commercial flight touches down on the Cobar tarmac.
