Music in the dust at Nymagee

Cobar’s Frank McCosker and Michael Forstpointner were among the large crowd which made the trip to Nymagee on the weekend for the 2008 ‘Day in the Dirt’ music festival. 14 Australian bands and performers, including many from the western NSW area, took to the stage with live music keeping the crowd entertained from 10am until midnight. Many of the artists performed for free to give rural residents a taste of top quality country music. In addition, the annual Nymagee Flower Show, organised by the Nymagee Country Women’s Association was well supported.
