The Cobar Bowman’s Club held their annual two day Championship Shoot over the weekend.

Seventeen keen archers participated in the competition and were glad of the cooler, cloudy weather conditions.

Some very good scores were shot in all divisions.

Competitors included Seniors Shane Dupille, Katrina Harris, Peter Rogers Warren Goninan, Darrel Warren, Dick Tulloh, Tim Arnold, Robyn Church, Brian Church and Rex Berthelsen.

Junior members were John Arnold, Greg Patten, Zeb Tulloh, Marshall Anderson and participating Cubs were Thomas Berthelsen and Garreth Bridgland.

The winners will be revealed and presented with trophies based on the Championship results at the end of year presentation night to be held later in the year.

Club members are continuing to actively fundraise in order to upgrade the club’s facilities.—contributed
