The Golfie’s Bounty Day Poker tournament played at the club on Monday attracted a field of 15 players.
Charles Nelson was the pick of the ‘Bounty Hunters’ eliminating almost half of the field.
He took seven players out of contention to collect a prize pool of approximately $600.
Kane Walker was second after he beat three players and Jay Goonrey eliminated two opponents to finish in third place.
In other games played last week, Les Arnold was the winner of Thursday’s Free Game from a field of 14 players. Peter Sherwood finished in second place with Kane Walker third.
Thursday’s Cash Game attracted big numbers to the tables with 21 players buying in to play.
Stephen Clark was the overall winner ahead of Greg Clark and Kane Walker was third.
The Royal Flush Jackpots are still elusive and have climbed to $4,136 for the Free Game and $1,708 for the Cash Game.
The next $1,000 Cash Game is on Saturday October 16. New players are welcome to the tournaments.—Royal Flush
