Impressive wins for CHS chess team

Junior Chess League Country Secondary Schools competition recently. Members of the Cobar High School Chess team have moved through to the second round of the competition. Other team members Matt Cohen recorded an impressive four-move checkmate, while Tony Place also recorded a win. Seth Negus-Rodman finished the round with a hard fought draw. ▪ Photo contributed
