Live music attracts a crowd

Hope Semmler was among the many Cobar High School students who displayed their musical, dance and artistic talents at the Friday Night Live performance at Cobar Youth and Fitness Centre last week. Some of the town’s best young talent was on show for the crowd of around 120 people. The night was aimed at giving local youth the opportunity to showcase their talent, as most are too young to perform at pubs or clubs. After the success of last week’s performances, discussions are underway to make it a regular event with local musicians such as Jade Buckman and Jade Martin lending their support.
