Pony club ends year with presentations and Christmas party

The Cobar Pony Club held its end of year annual Christmas Party and presentation of trophies on Friday night.
It was a lot of fun for all who attended including the clubs patron for many years ‘Tiger’ Anderson and his wife Bev.
Mr Anderson presented a number of trophies along with club president Tony Lord and Shirley Mitchell.
Trophies in the Sub Junior division went to: Most Improved—Ethan Gilbert, Encouragement—Sarah Prince, Alice Prince, Atticus Jackson, Elsie Jackson, Hanna Carroll and Jasmine Whitehurst; Most Improved Flat and Most Improved Jumps—Danielle Lord; Junior Division: Encouragement—Taylor Toomey and Georgia Horne; Dressage and One Day Event—Danielle Lord; Point Score Gymkhana—Emily Claxton; Senior: Most Outstanding—Hailey Gilbert; Most Improved Flat—Samantha Lloyd; Most Improved Jumps—Hailey Gilbert; Encouragement—Cerinessa Foster and Hope Semmler; Dressage—Samantha Hyde; One Day Event—Taylor Gilbert; Pont Score Gymkhana—Hailey Gilbert.
The Associate Most Consistent Rider was Brodie Mackay while the President’s Trophy went to Stuart Wharton.
Aussie Battler awards went to Hope Semmler and Georgia Horne.
The Wells Trophy Club Person went to Timothy Lord while the Senior Encouragement trophy was awarded to Kaila Wharton.—contributed
