Winter wonderland

The Cobar Business Association’s second monthly market day in the main street has been declared a huge success, with shoppers once again out in force to take advantage of the many bargains on offer and peruse the wares of the various stall holders. The theme for June was ‘white winter wonderland’ and plenty of local businesses got on board, setting up themed window displays. Although the long weekend meant many locals were away, the number of tourists passing through more than made up
numbers. The Cobar Business Association is planning to continue to hold monthly market days on the first weekend of each month, with the next to have a ‘Christmas in July’ theme.
