A contingent of 19 Cobar poker players competed at the Regional Poker Competition in Dubbo on Sunday.
From a field of 136 players, the Cobar Golfie players acquitted themselves well with five players finishing in the top 50 which included Rob Josephson, Stephen Clark, Craig Urquhart, Rex Hunt and Kyle Roberts.
Josephson finished in fourth place and Clark was seventh.
Thursday’s Free Game at the Golfie had 23 players.
Kyle Roberts was first with Aaron Harvey second and John Harvey third.
The Cash Game had 22 players with Mark Cleary the winner from Justin Gordon and Michael Beitz.
The Royal Flush Jackpots are now standing at $179 for the Free Game and $978 for the Cash Game.—Royal Flush
