Golfers donate to Cobar kids

Annual Cobar Police Charity Golf Day organiser, Senior Constable Joe Palma, handed out six $1,000 cheques to local children’s organisations on Monday from the proceeds of this year’s annual charity golf event. Urquhart (Cobar Little A’s), Racquel Potter (Cobar Preschool), Dianne Newey (Cobar Junior Basketball), Bridget Brookman and Tammy McKay (Cobar Mobile Resources) and Sarahjane Arthur (Kubby House) with Cobar Bowling and Golf Club secretary/manager Neil Urquhart at the club.
