And they’re (almost) off and racing

Empire Hotel licensee Damian Wray has helped ensure this weekend’s Cobar Miners Race Club meeting is a success by presenting a donation to the club’s vice president Vince Sikora yesterday. Mr Wray, a major sponsor of the event, donated $2,030 while the club also received a donation from Justin and Julie McClure from Kallara
Station, Tilpa, of $500. The club will hold its annual race meeting this Saturday,
kicking off with the special Peak Golden Mile footrace, while the feature race is the WesTrac Cobar Cup.
