Holiday boredom? No way!
Wednesday April 14, 2010

When The Cobar Weekly’s photographer went along to the school holiday activities
yesterday to take a photo, to our surprise the children were way to busy to even smile for the camera as they participated in a range of activities led by a group of youths from Avondale School at Cooranbong. STORMCO, which stands for Service to Others Really Matters, regularly visits Cobar as part of their community service program for the school’s senior students. They have been conducting various activities including clowning and puppets, drama, music, art and craft and games at the Cobar Public School, as well as participating in Youth Week activities at Cobar Youth and Fitness Centre. The group will wrap up their visit today with a community pancake afternoon at the Youthie.
