Good player numbers for poker games

Players numbers for poker at Cobar Bowling and Golf Club were once again excellent .
Last Thursday’s free game had 15 players with Todd Dickson the winner, Tom Fox second and Damien Urquhart third.
The cash game attracted 23 players with Terry Roberts claiming the winner’s prize, Sharni Clark second and Wayne Symes third.
On Sunday James Sutton had a win in the free game with John Potter in second and Gary Hagan not far behind in third.
Debbie Walker emerged the winner of Sunday’s cash game ahead of Charlie Nelson and Steve Roberts.
This week’s Royal Flush jackpot for the free game is $2,962 and $224 for the cash game.
The upcoming “Cobar Classic” poker weekend, April 24 and 25, has a $110 buy-in and $100—$20,000 starting stack.
Registration is from 2pm on Saturday and games start at 3pm, while on Sunday the action kicks off 10am start.
Players should also look out for a number of upcoming new events on the Cobar poker calendar plus the “Cobar Champion of Champions” tournament which will be contested on August 14, where the winner will receive a gold bracelet as well as prize money.
Poker regionals will be held at Mudgee Soldiers Club in May.
Just a reminder that Thursday Free game rego is at 5pm and play at 6pm cash game rego at 7.30pm and play at 8pm.—Royal Flush
