Some of Cobar Shire Council’s longest serving employees came together last
Wednesday night at Coppers Restaurant to farewell Bob Clark who has officially retired. Mr Clark (pictured at centre) retired as the Office Manager at Cobar Shire Council after 39 years (and four years prior to that with Hastings Shire Council). He was joined at his retirement dinner on Wednesday night by Wally Black (46 years), Tim Lee (18 years), Robert ‘Gandy’ Gordon (23 years), Peter Zazoniuk (28 years), Jo-Louise Prisk (eight years), Carol Pritchard (seven years) and Sandra Zazoniuk (33 years) as well as partners Hank Pritchard, Leonie Clark and Kathy Black. Mr Clark intends to spend more time with his family, especially his
grandchildren, and he and wife Leonie have plans to travel to Europe, Russia and also to visit their son Paul and his new wife Kristina in Kazakhstan
