Darts singles and doubles champions have been decided

The Cobar Darts Club Singles and Doubles Championships games were held at the Services Club at the weekend.
In all divisions, the 2008 winners were back to contest this year’s grand finals.
The Singles event was held on Saturday with Shane Haddy defeating Tony Brown 2-1 in the men’s singles grand final.
Fran Fogarty won the women’s championship event defeating Melanie Cummins 2-1.
Both Singles grand finals were close games, with an outcome that could have gone either way.
The Doubles championships was played on Sunday with Shane Haddy and Ross Richardson the 2009 title winners from runners-up Tony Brown and Darryl Curtis.
Debbie Nichols and Jo Coughlin won the women’s event with Gayleen Luland and Mescal Nicholls placing second.
The Mixed Doubles competition was also played on Sunday and gave Shane Haddy his third title for the weekend.
He teamed up with Heather Christie to win the event from Darryl Curtis and Cassandra Bartlett.
180 high scores were scored by Haddy and John Harvey during the weekend’s competition.
The Western Tilt Tray Service Women’s Peg Out competition was won by Mescal Nicholls and Prue Zazonuik.
