Motocross action returns to the Cobar Auto Club track

Motocross action returned to the Cobar Auto Club track on Saturday night with almost 50 riders competing in junior and senior events.

Riders came from all over the western area along with riders from Sydney.

Local rider Matt Ephgrave took out the Open class with David Forster second and visitor Ian Giles in third place.

Visitor A Shepherd finished ahead of Ephgrave in the 250/450F class with Giles again in third place.

Forster took the chequered flag in the 125/250F Seniors division ahead of Zeb McLaughlin and Kyle Mawhinney.

Visitors Brendan Tanti and Todd McKenna finished in the top places in the 125/250F junior class with Jamie Roche in third place.

Tanti also led the pack in the 65cc class with Ben Hogan second and Ethan Brookman in third place.

Aaron Tanti won the 85cc class ahead of Michael Beard and visitor L Yeo was third.

Ellie McLaughlin was pushed all the way in the Ladies class by second placed Eden Fairbank and third placed Demi Robinson.

Junior riders Callum Rainbow, Dan McKenna, Clay Roche, Cameron Tanti, Adam Rice and Ben Hogan put on a great riding display in the Nippers division.
