Wednesday November 18, 2009

Cobar is heading for a hot end to spring with scorching temperatures on the way next week.

After reaching 40 degrees last Thursday, Cobar’s temperature was in the high 30s for the rest of last week.

The start of this week was even hotter when the temperature climbed above 40 degrees, and the rest of the week is set to be even hotter.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a top of 41 degrees today after a minimum of 22 degrees overnight.

Tomorrow and Friday are both expected to reach a top of 43 degrees.

Fine conditions are expected throughout the week.

Some mild relief is expected by the weekend, with the top temperature for Saturday expected to be 38 degrees, while a top of 36 degrees is forecast for Sunday after a minimum of 21 degrees.
