Pets visiting the Kidman Way Veterinary Surgery recently have received some extra attention with two students completing work experience at the surgery. Angela Hicks and Lauren Said, pictured with Indy the Labrador, are both Charles Sturt University Wagga Veterinary Science Students who have completed two weeks work placement with Kidman Way veterinarian Mary-Jane Stutsel at her Cobar and Bourke |practices. The pair said they have enjoyed the experience, describing Cobar as “their best placement yet”. The third year students have been observing and assisting where possible with animal care, and say they are both interested in careers in rural
veterinary clinics when they complete their course.
