New arts officer

Outback Arts new Regional Arts Development Officer (RADO) Jamie-Lea Hodges and executive officer Margie Pye were in Cobar last Thursday as part of a whirlwind tour of the region. Ms Hodges joined the Outback Arts team last November and hails from Coonamble, which is in the Outback Arts region. She has studied at the College of Fine Arts at the University of NSW in Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Art Education. During their visit to Cobar the pair met with locally-based Regional Indigenous
Cultural Development Officer Anita Burcher and Cobar Shire Council staff. The pair also visited Lightning Ridge, Bourke, Brewarrina and Warren as part of the tour.
