CHS art on display

Cobar High School art teacher Seth Madden and Gecko Espresso proprietor Michelle Hush were busy hanging artworks on the walls of the café last Thursday. Ms Hush has offered wall space at Gecko to allow school students artworks to be displayed. Mr Madden said the first seven artworks which were hung last week are from the Year Nine and Ten Photography classes. The artworks will be rotated on a regular basis. Mr Madden said the initiative gives local students “great exposure”, while Ms Hush said it “gives the customers something different to look at”. The CHS students’ works will share wall space with works from Cobar Public School students, which have been on display since last year.
