Golfers represent CHS at WSSA event

Five students from Cobar High School travelled to Nyngan to represent
Cobar High School in the Western
School Sports Association (WSSA) Golf
Secondary Sandgreen Championships last Friday.
Jeb Bishop was the Scratch runner-up hitting a score of 81. Year Seven student Jacob Ryan was exceptional against much older participants hitting a round of 86. He finished third in the Scratch event.
Up and coming golfer Dylan Prince was the net winner with a net score of 59.
Ethan Black and Bayley Prendergast also competed well and all represented the school with distinction.
Bishop, Ryan and Prendergast will be participating in Cowra next Monday in the Western Area Golf Championships.—contributed
