Golfers help children

Cobar’s golfers have helped out local children’s services with the recent
Polyfabrications and FB Linings charity golf day. Garry Wilkin and Mick Garbutt (pictured centre) presented cheques for $500 each last Tuesday to Donna Hay (Kubby House Childcare Centre) and Racquel Potter (Cobar Preschool) with the proceeds from the day. Mrs Hay said the funds will help Kubby boost its art and craft
supplies, as well as improve storage at the centre. Mrs Potter said the Preschool will put the money towards planned upgrades at the school, including extensions to the building and new equipment.
