Thefts investigated

Cobar Police are investigating a number of thefts which occurred last week, including a vehicle which was later recovered.
Unknown persons broke into a local school between 8.30pm last Wednesday and 5.45am last Thursday and stole a number of items, including mobile phones and a set of car keys.
A car was also stolen, but was later recovered near Cobar Cemetery at around 9am Thursday morning.
Senior Constable Geoffrey Richardson urged members of the public with information on the matter to speak with police.
Two men were issued field court attendance notices after police located a stolen item in their possession last Friday.
Police received a report of the theft of a bench from a bakery in Hillston at around 4.30am on Friday.
Two men, aged 24 and 22 were spotted by police at a Cobar service station at 1.50pm Friday with the bench in their vehicle.
Police also received two separate reports of thefts of bicycles last week.
One, which was stolen from a Louth Road address on Friday, was later recovered at a Wattle Drive location.
The other, described as a mountain bike, was stolen from a Monaghan Street address between 4pm last Tuesday and 8.30am Thursday.
